Joe Cocker and Huey Lewis Coming To The Tropicana Atlantic City

Joe Cocker and Huey Lewis and the News, two titans of rock-n-roll with multiple GRAMMY awards and millions of albums sold between them, began touring the US on a co-headlining, 24-date, coast-to-coast run this summer in July. Each will play a full set with surprises and collaborations in store at Tropicana Friday, August 3, 2012 at 8pm.

Best known for his soulful gritty voice, Joe Cocker is responsible for classic hits such as “With a Little Help from my Friends”, “You are so Beautiful” and “Delta Lady.” Cocker has released 21 studio and 4 live albums. With millions of albums sold, he is a GRAMMY, Golden Globe and Academy Award winner and ranked on Rolling Stone's Greatest 100 Singers list. His most recent album, 'Hard Knocks,' was released in 2010.

Somewhere near “The Heart of Rock & Roll” you’ll find Huey Lewis. Formed from two rival Bay Area bands in 1979, Huey Lewis and the News play a brand of straight-ahead rock and roll that has outlasted countless trends, selling over 20 million albums and earning two Grammy Awards along the way. The group still performs around 100 shows a year. "A sizzling sonic workout" (Dallas Morning News), The band's most recent album 'Soulsville' was released in 2010.

These two iconic artists have never toured together before, but they will both take the stage for one memorable performance in the Showroom at Tropicana Casino & Resort Friday, August 3^rd at 8pm.
