Energy Drink? Just Say No! By Hesh from Train Studios!

PUT THAT ENERGY DRINK DOWN!!!

Over the past few years the fastest growing segment in the food and beverage industry has been in the energy drink sector. Energy drinks are normally a combination of caffeine and sugar, usually administered in the form of a shot all the way to 30 plus ounces. Most people indulging in theses drinks are children, teens, and young adults in the bar crowd and club scene. With 2 out of 3 children being overweight or obese, the last thing these children need is a jolt of caffeine and a ton of sugar in a can.
In a University of California study of 500 college students, 51%had drank an energy drink within the past 2 weeks and an astonishing 21% had reported having heart palpitations.
The average caffeine in an energy drink is 50-500mg of caffeine!! Due to the fact that the FDA treats these drinks as “supplements” and not as beverages, there is no regulated maximum amount of caffeine per drink.

GET READY FOR THIS!!!
(FDA caffeine limit on a carbonated beverage is 75mg)
One Red Bull = the amount of caffeine in 3 cans of Coca-Cola
AND the sugar of 2 LARGE pieces of Cheesecake!

AND the sugar of 3 LARGE pieces of Cheesecake!
The REAL MONSTER in all the statistics is…
One Monster = the amount of caffeine in 7 cans of Coca-Cola
AND the sugar of 4 LARGE pieces of Cheesecake!

Seriously, you will actually increase your energy by NOT drinking energy drinks… because your sleep patterns will improve!
TRY working out, getting more sleep, drinking more water and avoiding SUGARS! That’s the real formula for ENERGY!!!
