Somewhere near “The Heart of
Rock & Roll” you’ll find Huey Lewis. Formed from two rival Bay Area
bands in 1979, Huey Lewis and the News play a brand of straight-ahead
rock and roll that has outlasted countless trends, selling over 20
million albums and earning two Grammy Awards along the way. The group
still performs around 100 shows a year. "A sizzling sonic workout"
(Dallas Morning News), The band's most recent album 'Soulsville' was
released in 2010.
These two iconic artists have never toured
together before, but they will both take the stage for one memorable
performance in the Showroom at Tropicana Casino & Resort Friday,
August 3rd at 8pm. Tickets are $62, $77, $82, $97, and $115 and are available through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com or via phone at 1.800.736.1420, or at the Tropicana Box Office.
